Who are we?
West Badminton Academy was created with a simple goal – to share the joy of badminton through a professional approach.
We are an enthusiastic team led by a coach from Plzeň who has prepared several players for the Olympic Games and World Championships. We have ready-made training plans, plenty of fun sessions, and fun games. We know how to do it – we have already proven it, whether at the very top world level or with the youngest players.
What do we want?
We want to train in a playful and fun way.
We want to run training sessions that players genuinely enjoy – varied, fun, and focused on developing athletic and badminton skills.
We want players to build a positive relationship with sport (and badminton especially), learn solid movement fundamentals, and understand that everything can be learned and improved.
We want to teach badminton to every player – and for those who want it, we want to help them pursue big badminton dreams.
Our vision
Badminton is a great sport – fun, dynamic, and every rally is a little action story.
Anyone can play it: kids discovering their first shots, or experienced players enjoying doubles for fun. Our goal is an academy where everyone finds their own path: recreational, competitive, or high-performance. And we will all be united by the joy of the game.
